Delta Operations

Two separate levels of operations fall within the Department of Public Works. Each level has its own set of responsibilities and functions.

• Delta Operations includes Fleet Maintenance, Forced Drainage, Gravity Drainage, Pollution Control, and Telemetry.
• Bravo Operations includes Animal Control, Bridges, Government Facilities, Roads, and Transit.

Delta Operations is responsible for the maintenance and operation of fleet vehicles, drainage systems, wastewater systems, and telemetry systems within the Parish. This includes maintaining the fleet vehicles in good working condition, ensuring that the drainage systems are functioning properly, ensuring that the wastewater systems are functioning properly, and monitoring the telemetry systems to ensure accurate data collection.
