Pollution Control

Pollution Control manages, operates, and maintains your wastewater utility. Pollution Control is divided into Collection and Treatment. Each section is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of the following:

Collections

• sewer collection lines
• transport lines
• pumping stations
• holding basins
• oversees expansion of the wastewater collection system

Treatment

• wastewater treatment facilities
• ensuring that all wastewater discharged from parish facilities complies with state permit effluent limitations
