Taking It To The Streets - City Missions Location: Victory of Houma, 5328 West Main Street, Houma, LA. Contact: Bobby Autin Phone: 985-868-3153 Organization: Victory of Houma Description: Taking It To The Streets is our City Missions, it's a way for us to give back to the community that we love so much. Day One will consist of the following: Water Bottle Outreach - We will be on the corner of MLK and Enterprise by McDonald's handing out water. Who doesn't want FREE water? It's already hot outside! As the traffic light stops on coming traffic we just simply offer the people in their cars free water as an act of kindness, no strings attached. Nursing Home - We will be visiting different nursing homes throughout our entire area just to bring live into them. Widow Outreach - We will be helping out the widows of the area. The ladies will be connecting and cleaning on the inside, while the men will be cutting grass, cutting trees, whatever needs to happen. Car Wash - We will be having a FREE car wash (no donations) on the eastside at South Louisiana Bank. Starting roughly around 1pm. Adopt a Bridge - We are adopting the Jody Street Bridge right here by the church. We will be painting it and putting up landscaping. We want to do our part in keeping this amazing city clean!
