No Ice Chests or Beverages Allowed. Guests can bring lawn chairs. Money generated from concerts pay for the bands.
Release of 100,001 ladybugs. Different activities include: water guns, bean bag toss, face and nail painting, pin the dots on the ladybug, sand art, spin art booth, ladybug cookie decorating booth, ladybug attire contest, silent auction, raffle tickets, ladybug craft making and lots more.

The Bonne Terre Garden Fair will be held on May 2, 2009 on the beautiful grounds of the Southdown Plantation House at 1208 Museum Dr., Houma, LA. Southdown is a 19th century sugar plantation manor house and museum of local history and culture. There will be expert speakers including Louisiana's own Dan Gill, vendors selling plants, supplies and lawn and garden merchandise, kids' hands-on activities, a garden-themed art show within the museum, and museum tours, food, and much more.
