The training league is for boys and girls, ages 5-6 (child needs to be 5/6 on or before 09/01/2021). This year the league schedule will consist of four (4) training sessions. These sessions will be held on January 15, 22, 29 and February 5, 2022. Each session will last approximately one (1) hour. Fundamentals will be covered during these training sessions. A practice game teaching real game situations may be conducted during the last session. The practice game will be two (2) twenty (20) minute halves (Running Time). Scores will not be kept. Teamwork and basic fundamentals such as passing, dribbling and shooting will be stressed. If time permits, participants will be taught how to play a zone offense and defense. Practice games are not played to determine the best team. Practice games are only conducted to teach the basics.
Celebrate the start of the 2022 Mardi Gras season with Terrebonne Parish's largest kick off party! The event begins with a parade of krewes followed by a concert by New Orleans Karma.
