Sessions are on a first come, first served basis on the following topics: bankruptcy, civil lawsuits, collection matters, custody, divorce, evictions, FEMA/disaster benefits, SNAP, foreclosures, housing, Medicaid, Social Security, SSI/SSDI, successions, taxes and wills.
The following vaccinations will be available at no cost: flu and Mpox. No cost COVID vaccinations will be available for under-insured and uninsured.
The WISEWOMAN program will be offering free heart health screenings for women 35-64.

Bayou Regional Arts Council is holding its second annual Bayou Arts Fest in conjunction with Explore Houma's White Boot Stroll and the Voice of the Wetlands in historic downtown Houma. This event is free to the public.
The event will feature authentic Cajun food, live music from the VOW stage and bandstand, unique arts and crafts, and more.
Street closure will run from Main Street and Lafayette Street to Main Street and Barrow Street.

The Annual Spelling Bee returns to the Main Library with grade level competitions and an open competition for all ages.
The entry fee is $1 for grades 1-6 and $2 for open competition. Winners will receive prizes, and all participants will have the opportunity to compete in a supportive environment.
