This event will feature a dog parade and various competitions including best costume, best owner/dog look alike, cutest dog, a howling contest, and best dog trick contest.
Until the Government Towers is open to the Pubic, our Meetings are at the Regional Military Museum at 1154 Barrow Street, Houma, LA 70360. Once the Government Towers opens to the Public, we will be back at in the Council Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of the Government Towers.

Registration begins!
The training league is for boys and girls, ages 5-6 (child needs to be 5/6 on or before 09/01/2021). This year the league schedule will consist of four (4) training sessions. These sessions will be held on January 15, 22, 29 and February 5, 2022. Each session will last approximately one (1) hour. Fundamentals will be covered during these training sessions. A practice game teaching real game situations may be conducted during the last session. The practice game will be two (2) twenty (20) minute halves (Running Time). Scores will not be kept. Teamwork and basic fundamentals such as passing, dribbling and shooting will be stressed. If time permits, participants will be taught how to play a zone offense and defense. Practice games are not played to determine the best team. Practice games are only conducted to teach the basics.
We will hold a Grand Reopening Christmas Art Market on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 1 p. m. to 7 p.m. The Houma Downtown Christmas Parade takes place at 5 p.m. We invite the public to visit us and shop our Christmas Show. We will have food, snacks, and drinks. We will have a “Selfies with Santa” setup where you can take photos of yourself, family, and friends. We will have a door prize and a special exhibit of lighted art.
Our Christmas Show and Sale offers a variety of art and crafts by our member artists, including hand-painted or handmade ornaments, Santa Oysters, Dried Okra Ornaments, shells, and more. Many artworks of all sizes are available in various media including acrylic, pastel, oil, watercolor, mosaics, collage, photography, and cards.
We have a Fundraiser Christmas Tree. All ornaments (bulbs & mini canvases) are painted by gallery members to raise funds for the gallery. All ornaments are only $5. Come shop with us this Christmas. Give the gift of original art by local artists.
Downtown Houma - Beginning at Terrebonne High Parking Lot

Description:
The annual Christmas parade will leave Terrebonne High School Parking lot onto St. Charles Street. The official starting point of the parade will be at the intersection of Saint Charles and Main Street. The parade will then follow the traditional route along Main Street, turning right onto Barrow Street, and will end at the corner of Barrow and School Street. Signs will be placed 24 hours in advance of the parade giving an indication as to when barricades will be placed and asking that no one park vehicles along the route before the parade. Parade goers are to stand behind the barricades and will not be allowed to approach the floats.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place.
