Description: Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government observes 11 regular holidays throughout the year. Public Transit buses will use the weekend schedule during all observed holidays. Garbage collections are suspended/cancelled on New Year's Day, Mardi Gras Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day only. Description: Terrebonne Parish will be participating in the Christmas Tree Recycling Program to help with public awareness of coastal erosion. Residents may participate by placing their trees in the area of their normal garbage pickup. Trees may also be dropped off at any of the TPCG residential drop-off sites.
