The Terrebonne Folklife Culture Center is offering Cajun dance lessons! Participants are encouraged to bring a dance partner. There is a $5 fee per person. Class sizes are limited.

October is recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the profound impact of domestic violence. Please join us for the community candlelight vigil to honor survivors of domestic violence.
The Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade and Festival is a family fun event for man’s best friend. Join us for the
parade, contests, music, food, and refreshments. Awards will be presented for the best costume, best
dog/owner look alike, largest/smallest dog, best dog trick, and howling contest. The event is free to the public and dog owners may make a donation to the Kiwanis Club of Houma Foundation. The proceeds support projects of the Kiwanis Club of Houma and will benefit many students and members of our community. Registration and information is available at www.kiwanishouma.com.
