The Gala goes somewhere new every year, and in 2024 the Gala is traveling back in time for a totally radical 80s prom night! The Gala Goes 80s brings the community together to raise vital funding to support patients and families facing cancer here in the Bayou Region.
Guests will gather at Barry P. Bonvillain Civic Center in Houma to enjoy delicious food, creative cocktails, and a beautiful silent auction. In addition, a Prom Court consisting of four men and four women will fundraise in the community and the man and woman who raise the most money for Terrebonne General | Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center will be crowned King and Queen of The Gala during the event. The Gala Goes 80s is not to be missed!

The Over and Under Tunnel Run is the longest running 5k race in our community. This year's event will benefit The Foundation for Terrebonne General Health System.
Registration and packet pickup: 3:00 p.m.
Kid's Fun Run (1 mile): 4:00 p.m.
5k Tunnel Run: 4:30 p.m.
The parade begins on Westside Boulevard next to Cannata's and ends on Barrow Street at Town Hall.
Parade riders throw cabbages, carrots, potatoes, and other food items.
The Haven's Annual Spring Gala, "Home Is Where the Heart Is," supports The Haven and the lives of those affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse.
