The series incorporates history, memoir, and fiction and is intended to engage members of the general public in conversations on the beauty of and challenges faced by coastal communities.

Join us downtown on March 12th at the Second Annual Bayou Terrebonne Boucherie for a day of food, festivity and teamwork. In addition to mounds of pork, there will be a white bean cookoff, live music, and the now-famous Cajun Cup (a series of bayou-themed competitions).

16th Annual Tree Giveaway hosted in conjunction with the Good Earth Market. The giveaway includes distribution of 200 native trees and 200 bare root saplings to Parish residents. The Good Earth Market celebrates garden enthusiasts and will have vendors from all aspects of the gardening and farming industry.
Come for a night back in time for a one-of-a-kind performance. Dressed in his 19th-century attire in accompaniment with period-appropriate instruments, the night promises to be a journey into the musical past of America. Presented by Sigel artist management and the Friends of the Library.
