Description:
Through generous donation from Apache Corporation, the Tree Board and their partners with the Master Gardeners will host the 17th annual tree giveaway. 220 native trees (3 gallon container size) and 1,000 seedlings to Terrebonne Parish residents. Limit 2 container trees per household.
Complimentary Refreshments, free blood pressure checks, vaccines, free car seat check (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.), and learn about the services offered at the Terrebonne Health Unit
The Terrebonne Parish Library will host a free seminar series at the Main Library to help entrepreneurs plan, develop, and finance their business. No registration is required.

Come out for the Cast Iron CRAWL, a fun downtown activity that will take you to your favorite places in Downtown Houma and end at the Houma Cast Iron Cookoff to sample delicious dishes, enjoy live music, and much more!
Fill your Crawl Bingo Card by doing fun activities at local restaurants, bars, and downtown landmarks. Once you complete four tasks across, down, or diagonal on the card, bring it to the Cast Iron Cookoff (where you'll have free entry) to turn in your card for a chance to win the grand prize - a cast iron cookware & gift cards to downtown merchants!
You can fill in your Crawl Bingo Card any time Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cards must be turned in to the entrance gate at Cast Iron Cookoff prior to 2:30 p.m. to be entered to win the grand prize.
$10 entry gets you:
•Bingo card to participate in the Cast Iron Crawl.

The Houma Rotary Cast Iron Cookoff presented by Transech LLC features 30+ cooking teams serving their best dishes cooked in cast iron cookware. For just a small admission fee, you can taste everything, vote for your favorite, and support a great cause!
All event proceeds benefit the many local service projects of the Rotary Club of Houma, including education, leadership, and veteran projects in our community.
In addition to delicious food, the Cast Iron Cookoff will have live local music, a Cast Iron Crawl throughout downtown Houma, and local artists displaying their work. You don’t want to miss this fabulous event!
