Louisiana Contractors Accreditation Institute (LCAI)
Description:
Last day to register for the LCAI course on construction industry basics and prepping for the state's licensing exam for contractors. Classes will be held from February 19 to March 28, 2018. Price is $200 per participant.
More than 27 teams battle for your vote and to be named the best dish in Houma. All you can eat soup, gumbo, and chili for a $5 entry fee. 5k Walk/Run starts at 9:30 a.m. Registration is $25 and includes entry into the cook-off.

Apache Corporation is pleased to announce that they are donating 200 trees in celebration of Arbor Day 2018. Some of the trees expected to be available for the Give Away are Magnolia, Eagleston, Buttonbush, Southern Crabapple, White Oak, Bald Cypress, Willow Oak, Southern Live Oak, Sweet Pecan, American Sweet Gum and Sycamore.
Apache Corporation also donated saplings and seedlings of various varieties including Bald Cypress, Pond Cypress, Laurel Oak and Swamp Chestnut Oak.
There is a limit of two container saplings per household to be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, so come early to assure your choice of various Louisiana native seedlings and saplings.
