Meeting dates are subject to change at the discretion of the CZMRAC to allow for a quorum of members present in order to constitute an official meeting. Get a jump-start on spring by joining the Wetlands Discovery Center for the Good Earth Market on Saturday, April 1, 2017, from 9AM to 3PM. The Good Earth Market is a celebration for garden enthusiasts with booth spaces available to vendors from all aspects of the gardening and farming industry. This annual market includes educational workshops on native plants, bee keeping, and raising backyard chickens. Vendors will be selling native plants, vegetables, Louisiana irises, ornamental plants, orchids, roses, fresh eggs, baby chicks, local honey, jams, jellies, sun catchers, and lots more.

We will have music, food, games, craft booths and crafts for the kids. All benefiting Ochsner's Child Life Department.

HTRPC - Special Meeting

Southdown Marketplace is a one-day arts & crafts festival featuring more than 300 local and national vendors with unique hand-made products including jewelry, clothing, woodcrafts, original art, garden items, seasonal products and more.
Also featured is a huge selection of Cajun food favorites like jambalaya, gumbo, red beans & rice, and corn soup. Tours of Southdown Plantation & Museum will also be available.
All proceeds benefit the non-profit Terrebonne Historical & Cultural Society and Southdown Plantation & Museum.
This family-friendly, alcohol-free event takes place rain or shine.
Entrance fee is $5 per person; children under 12 get in free. Additional charges for food, drinks, and museum tours.

Kids in grades pre-K – 7th grade are welcome. The event is free to the public, and the first 250 kids will receive a free backpack. Kids can participate in obstacle courses, exercise and basketball stations, and create their own smoothies at the smoothie bike station.
