The Terrebonne Parish Main Library will host donation days for the Art Supply Swap for the community to donate art supplies. Donations must be arts and craft materials that are new or gently used. The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government Section 8 Rental Assistance Program will accept applications. Applications may be obtained at the Houma Municipal Auditorium.

Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government observes 11 regular holidays throughout the year. Public Transit buses will use the weekend schedule during all observed holidays. Garbage collections are suspended/cancelled on New Year's Day, Mardi Gras Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day only. The Terrebonne Parish Health Unit is hosting free nutrition courses this summer! Once a month a representative from LSU-Ag will speak on different topics relating to nutrition. These courses are free to the public and no registration is required.

Sisterhood: Let's Talk About It is an educational event designed to engage with young ladies ages 12-16. This event will cover several topics such as hygiene, etiquette, development, and other key points. This program is free to the public. Adult supervision is required.
