Call TOHSEP to Report Damages from Tropical Storm Barry

The Terrebonne Parish Office of Emergency Preparedness is asking all residents and businesses who suffered damages from Tropical Storm Barry to call (985) 873-6357 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to file a report. This information is needed to get accurate information on damages caused by the storm.

Please direct inquiries concerning relief effort assistance and donations to (985) 876-0490. Relief efforts include removing trees from homes, yard cleaning, tarps for roofs, and cleaning kits.

People needing assistance with food needs should contact the Terrebonne Food Bank (985) 851-5523.

If you lost food purchased with SNAP benefits due to a power outage of at least 24 hours as a result of Hurricane Barry, you may be eligible for replacement SNAP benefits. For information go to dcfs.louisiana.gov, call 1-888-524-3578, or visit your local DCFS office located at 1012 W Tunnel Blvd., Houma, LA 70360.
