Collecting Stories Workshop to Be Held in Thibodaux April 10

As part of the National Park Services Bayou Stories Project, a two-hour workshop will be hosted from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at the Lafourche Parish Public Library Thibodaux Branch, 705 West Fifth Street, Thibodaux.

Participants can learn how to become a volunteer interviewer and help to collect and preserve important and poignant local stories. This event is a collaboration between the Lafourche Parish Public Library, the National Park Service, and both the Nicholls State University Departments of English and Psychology and will be hosted by Dr. Shana Walton, Associate Professor of English at Nicholls.
