
Annual Rougarou Fest to be Held Oct. 20-21 in Downtown Houma
The Rougarou Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Downtown Houma, centered around the courthouse square.
The annual Rougarou Fest highlights and celebrates Southeast Louisiana folklore. This family-friendly festival features live music, food, arts and crafts vendors, cultural activities, children's activities, the Krewe Ga Rou parade, a scavenger hunt, costume contests for people and pets, and more. Admission is free. All proceeds go to the South Louisiana Wetlands Discovery Center.
