The Harmon Park Community Garden has officially been moved to the Main Library. The grand reopening of the garden and ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 at the Main Library, 151 Library Drive. This event is free to attend, and the first 40 children to attend will receive "plant your own pizza" kits, courtesy of the LSU AgCenter.

The community garden has been made possible through the Live Healthy Houma coalition of agencies, with special thanks to the St. Francis Vegetable Garden and the LSU AgCenter. All produced harvest from the garden will be donated to the Terrebonne Churches United Food Bank to help feed the community.
