The Community Development Block Grant promotes the viable development of communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate income.
The HOME Investment Partnership Program is designed to provide local participating jurisdictions with flexible dollars to develop affordable housing strategies specifically targeting low-income residents.
Up to $45,000.00 in grant funds are available for newly constructed homes in Parkwood Place Subdivision. Potential homebuyers must have a household income at or below 80% of median and qualify for a mortgage with a local lender. Homes start at $145,000.00 with several floor plans to choose from.
