Description: Terrebonne Parish Head Start will be accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school session during the week of March 9-13, 2009. In order to apply, children must be three years old by Sept. 30, 2009. Families with children who have severe disabilities are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted at the TPCG Office of Housing and Human Services at 809 Barrow Street from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. and at all Head Start classrooms from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m

34th Annual Over and Under 5K Tunnel Run and Heart
Location: Houma Municipal Auditorium, 800 Verret Street.

Description: Kids Fun Run begins at 1 pm, Tunnel Run begins at 2 pm and from 2-6 pm there is food with music provided by "Souled Out". Registration Fee: Entrance fees for the 5K are $10 for children 12 and under, $20 for all 13 and over prior to race day. $25 on race day and $10 for those who don't want to receive T-shirt or just want to come for entertainment. Benefitting American Heart Association. Registration forms are available at Haydel Clinic on Barrow Street or Trapp Cadillac Chevrolet.
