The Coastal Waters Consortium and LUMCON are sponsoring a workshop for adults 18+ that focuses on art of the wetland. Participants will have the opportunity to learn techniques from our featured artist and utilize them to express the beauty of the wetland environment.
Cost: $20 per person

-Tour of the marsh and inhabitants
-Tour of the facility
-Art techniques
-Art time
Downtown Houma/Mall Area (small boats); Bayou Terrebonne south of the Intracoastal in Houma; Bayou Black at the Bayou Black Marina; and Bayou Petit Caillou in Chauvin

The Wetlands Discovery Center is proud to be organizing this event with the help of other nonprofit organizations, government agencies, parish officials, schools, churches, large corporations, restaurants, small businesses and families. Volunteers will pick up trash from our bayous in boats, pirogues, canoes, kayaks, and on foot.
