TPL Butterfly Release & Picnic 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Location: Main Library, 151 Library Dr., Houma, LA 70360 Organization: Terrebonne Parish Library System Description: This spring, the Terrebonne Parish Library System invites the community to witness the beautiful transformation of butterflies as part of an engaging, educational program. Beginning in early March, all Terrebonne Parish Libraries will house living caterpillars in nets, allowing visitors to observe the incredible life cycle of a butterfly up close. This special event will feature a story time and an outdoor walking parade, where the butterflies that have grown in the library will be released into the community garden.
