Refer to the map to see how the Good Earth Transit buses can take you from where you are to where you want to go. Each route is depicted in a
different color. First, find the route closest to where you are, then see if where you want to go is located on the same route. If it isn't, you will need to transfer to a different route. Transferring is simple. Stay
on the bus until it reaches the Bus Transfer Terminal, located at the corner of Main Street and Barataria Avenue. You may now board the bus which will take you to your final destination.
To know when to catch the bus, check the bus time schedule. Good Earth Transit buses are not assigned exact times at every stop, the times depicted
are at the ends of the routes. From these times you can estimate when the bus will get to your stop.
Bus Stops
Good Earth Transit bus stop signs and shelters are conveniently located throughout the transit system. If you need help finding the nearest stop, please call us at (985) 850-4616 and we will be happy to assist you.
To ride, please wait at the bus stop sign or within the shelter. When the bus approaches, look straight at the driver so he will know that you want him to stop. Wait until the bus comes to a complete stop
and passengers have exited before approaching the bus to enter.
Please let the driver know in advance where you want to get off the bus to allow the driver time to make a safe, smooth stop.
