Purpose

The purpose of the Board of Adjustment is to hold hearings to rule on variances, special exceptions, interpretations of the zoning ordinance and administrative decisions.  The Board of Adjustment operates under the auspices of the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government’s Planning and Zoning Department.

Meeting Schedule / Deadlines

The Board of Adjustment meets on the third Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Terrebonne Parish Council Meeting Room. The meeting room is located in the Government Tower, 8026 Main Street, on the 2nd floor. The deadline for placing items on the agenda is seventeen (17) days prior to the meeting date.
