In anticipation of additional rainfall and the possibility of severe thunderstorms today, the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government has placed sand and sand bags at the following locations: Coteau Park, next to the Coteau Volunteer Fire Department on Coteau Road; the Adult Softball Complex on the Airbase and the Bayou Black Fire Station located on Savanne Road. The Parish’s Public Works Department is currently pumping the drainage system to the lowest possible water elevation in anticipation of additional rainfall.
