Councilman Kevin M. Voisin is a lifelong resident of Terrebonne Parish who attended Ellender Memorial High School and eventually graduated from the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts program. He studied History at Brigham Young University where he paid his way through school designing web applications and refereeing sports. He served a two year, volunteer mission in Bordeaux, France. Mr. Voisin devotes his free time to his 3 children, and to playing sports of all kinds which recently included the completion of a Half-Ironman distance triathlon. At only 33 years old, Mr. Voisin has traveled extensively and has worked with governments in China, Ireland, England, Scotland, Australia, Canada, and France in his dealings in the seafood community. He strives to combine the knowledge he gained abroad with the lessons he learned about perseverance and hard work in training for an Ironman event to inspire him in his service to Terrebonne Parish.
