Mr. Hebert is beginning his first time as an elected official representing District 3, the area commonly known as Bayou Cane. A graduate of South Terrebonne High School, Mr. Hebert obtained his degree in Accounting from Nicholls State University in 1972. Since 1994, he has been the owner of Booking Express, serving the business community of this parish. Prior to serving in elected office, Mr. Hebert was actively involved in the community and served as Vice-Chairman of the Consolidated Waterworks District No. 1 Board, a past chairman of the Bayou Cane Fire and Protection District Board and Vice-Chairman of TARC. Mr. Hebert is married to the former Barbara Landry, a retired school teacher and they are the parents of three with four perfect grandchildren.
