Ms. Williams is serving her first full term as the elected representative of District 2 on the Terrebonne Parish Council and is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Council. She is President of the Louisiana Police Jury Association Black Caucus and was recently elected as the 2nd Vice-President of the National Association of Black County Officials. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Terrebonne, and is active in numerous local civic and community organizations, including the Rotary Club of Houma-Terrebonne. Ms. Williams is a Graduate of Southern University at New Orleans, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice. She is also a graduate of Terrebonne High School. She is the proud of mother of Joshua and Jere' Williams.
