What is Smart911™?

Smart911™ is a free service that allows you to create a Safety Profile for your household that includes any information that you want 9-1-1 to have in the event of an emergency. Then, when anyone in your household dials 9-1-1 from a phone associated with your Safety Profile, your profile is immediately displayed to the 9-1-1 call taker providing additional information that can be used to get the proper response to the proper location. When seconds count, your Safety Profile information could be the difference between life and death.

What is a Safety Profile?

A Safety Profile is a set of information about an individual, or a household that is contained within one account on Smart911.com. Information can include details about all members of the household, all phone numbers and all addresses including home, work and even vacation homes/camps. You can also add details about medical conditions, medications, vehicles, pets and emergency contacts.

The Safety Profile you create when you sign up for Smart911™ is completely private and only shared with 9-1-1 when you call from a registered phone. Some examples of the information you can include in your Safety Profile are:
