The Emergency Solutions Grant Program provides emergency shelter assistance to eligible families with minor children at the Beautiful Beginnings Center. The primary purpose of this facility is to provide temporary shelter as long as the residents are making a concerted effort to achieve goals and objectives that are consistent with becoming self-sufficient.
Currently the facility can house up to eight (8) families. It provides a wide range of case management services to the residents during their stay through other resource agencies both within and outside of Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government operations. Due to the damage caused by Hurricane Ida, the shelter is closed until further notice.
