How to do Business with TPCG

Policy: The Louisiana Revised Statutes Title 38:2211 and the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government Purchasing Manual govern the procurement policies.

Vendor Registration / Application

The Purchasing Division of the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government now requires vendors to register online at https://secure.tpcg.org/vendor/. This new tool is part of our continuing effort to make it easier for you to do business with the Parish, as well as provide you with better business opportunities. Vendors not having the ability to do so are urged to contact the Purchasing Division for assistance with the online registration process

Once the requirements of the Terms and Conditions of Purchase have been met, the vendor will be added to the Approved Purchasing Vendor list. This list is distributed to the purchaser's within the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government.

Purchase Order

An official purchase order that has been issued by authorized personnel is the only method for purchase of supplies, materials, equipment and or services. No payment will be made for any goods delivered or services rendered without an authorized purchase order number.

Tax Status

The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government claims exemption from sales tax under House Bill 1139, Act Number 1029 for the purchase of tangible property and services, and or leases and rentals of tangible personal property. An exemption certificate is furnished upon request.

Deliveries

All material and supplies, unless otherwise specified at the time of ordering, shall be delivered to the rear of the City Complex located at 301 Plant Road, Houma, Louisiana 70363. Deliveries are accepted from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
