The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is excited to announce that it will be offering adoptions for $25.00 for cats and $50.00 for dogs beginning Wednesday, April 12, 2017 and ending Saturday, April 15, 2017. The shelter will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13. On Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15, the shelter will be open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for adoptions only. 

It is with great anticipation that by offering a reduced price for adoptions that more pets can find homes. Dozens of animals are currently available for adoption at the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. Pictures of some of the adoptable animals can be found on the shelter's Facebook page and petfinder.com.  

Adopted animals are provided with the following:

• Health exam
• Vaccinations
• Dewormer
• Appropriate testing
• Microchip (including registration)
• Spay/neuter
• 1 Month supply of flea prevention
• 1 Month supply of heartworm prevention (dogs)
• Starter bag of Hill's Science Diet food
