GRAY, LA— The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is excited to announce that the shelter will offer adoptions for $14.00 beginning February 8, 2017 and ending February 14, 2017. The adoption promotion is set around the theme “You can’t buy love, but you can adopt it for $14” in honor of Valentine’s Day As a reminder, the shelter will be open for adoptions on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The shelter will not be open for intake on that day. Adoption hours during the week are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. It is with great anticipation that by offering a reduced price for adoptions that more pets can find homes. Dozens of animals are currently available for adoption at the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. Pictures of some of the adoptable animals can be found on the shelter’s facebook page and Petfinder.com.

Adopted animals are provided with the following:

• health exam
• vaccinations
• dewormer
• appropriate testing
• microchip (including registration)
• spay/neuter
• 1 mo. supply of flea prevention
• 1 mo. supply of heartworm prevention (dogs)
• Starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet food
