HOUMA, LA-Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government would like to announce updated locations for residents to obtain sand and sandbags in the event of a storm during the 2013 hurricane season. Residents will be notified through the news media when sand and sandbags are available at these locations in anticipation of a hurricane or other rain events. Residents are reminded that bags will be provided and that they are responsible for providing their own shovel as well as filling their own bags.
