Houmapalooza, an outdoor music festival to be held in Courthouse Square in historic downtown Houma, will be on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from noon-10pm. The all-day event will feature 10 independent bands performing their original music starting at noon. The lineup is:

The lineup for the spring includes bands from across Louisiana, and features original music of different genres including funk, indie rock, rock, progressive rock, hard rock, ska/reggae, and hiphop among others.
A second stage will also be featured during the festival highlighting local gospel groups. The second stage is a new addition the festival, and will feature a different genre of music for each festival. This spring festival will feature gospel, and the fall festival will feature Cajun music.
