Again this year employees of Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government collected canned goods and other nonperishable food items to be donated to needy families throughout the parish. Over the last several weeks, departments throughout parish government competed for bragging rights to see who could collect the most food items. Together, TPCG employees donated 3,031 items which totaled 80 boxes of food. In addition to the food donations, TPCG employees personally donated $1,040 to the local food bank. Leading the way this year was the Pollution Control Department, which generously donated 796 food items! “The employees of Terrebonne Parish Consolidate Government continue to show their love and dedication for our community,” said Parish President Michel Claudet. “The generosity of TPCG employees will certainly brighten the holidays of the less fortunate of our community,” added President Claudet. # # #
