NWS Heavy Rain/Flash Flood Update - January 26, 2024, 6PM

Friday January 26, 2024 05:32 pm - 360 Views - Posted By Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness

Overview of Impacts:

The last wave of rain/storms will push through the area during the early morning tomorrow through the afternoon hours (generally 3a-12p).

The flood watch has been cancelled. No flood watch is in effect at this time.
Dense fog will still be a concern overnight ahead of the front, especially around daybreak. This should start to clear out as rain arrives tomorrow morning.

A few storms may be locally strong to severe tomorrow with damaging winds possible, and tornadoes can't be ruled out along the line of storms.

The main concern will be any additional rain in the areas that were hit hard the last couple days, these will be the areas to watch for isolated flooding.
