National Night Out Will Be Held On October 3

National Night Out will be celebrated on October 3, 2023 for Terrebonne Parish residents. 

National Night Out was originally started in 1984 in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Matt Peskin. The event is a nationally-celebrated community event that encourages police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie while promoting neighborhood safety. Many neighborhoods participate by hosting block parties, BBQs, and festivals with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, and more.

  • Southdown Plantation Pavillion, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  
    1208 Museuem Drive
  • Southdown West Park, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
    302 Southdown West Boulevard
  • East Park, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. 
    Cornerstone Church, 8337 East Park Avenue
  • Downtown Marina, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
    8228 Park Avenue
