On Tuesday, November 29, the United States Coast Guard held a commendation ceremony in appreciation of services rendered during the SEACOR POWER Marine Board Investigation Hearings. HPD and Brian Rodrigue, TPCG's Information Technology Network Administrator, were honored at the ceremony. Captain Bobbie O’Bryan and Captain Lonnie Lusco represented HPD. The SEACOR POWER Marine Board of Investigation Hearings took place in Houma from August 2 to August 13, 2021.

HPD Officers were commended for their “exceptional professionalism and expertise while providing advanced screening and security for the high profile event.” HPD staged equipment and manned multiple stations to ensure correct protocols were being followed. In total, HPD devoted over 160 man hours to this event.

Brian Rodrigue was commended for providing audio equipment and information technology services for the hearings. He set up an intricate soundstage system, integrated the Coast Guard’s live stream internet broadcast with the in-room audio and presentation system, and configured the system to accommodate virtual witnesses.

Captain O’Brien of the United States Coast Guard made a presentation and handed out the commendations. Parish President Gordon E. Dove, who attended the ceremony, expressed his pride in the great public service done by Terrebonne Parish for the Unites States Coast Guard. TPCG thanks Brian and HPD for their service. Great job!
