Garbage trucks will be located at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Chauvin for residents to drop off spoiled food ONLY from refrigerators and freezers. Spoiled food must be in garbage bags to be dropped off.  

This service will be available until Noon and only today, Sunday, Sept. 5th. Spoiled food items in garbage bags may also be brought to the pick-up site on Isle of Cuba Road and the Ashland Landfill site during normal hours of operation.
