Animal Shelter Advises Residents to Avoid Picking Up Stray Animals to Relocate Them

The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter Executive Director, Valerie Robinson, advises residents to avoid picking up stray animals in order to relocate them.  For emergencies such as these, residents are urged to contact the Animal Shelter at (985) 873-6357 or (985) 790-3254.

Animal Shelter personnel and Code 3 and IFAW agencies will be in our communities to assess and respond to emergency situations.

Since Terrebonne Parish is still under a boil water advisory, pets need safe water to drink just as humans

For information on safe pet drinking water and other important pet safety, check out the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter Facebook page.
