Terrebonne Parish President Michel Claudet is pleased to announce the placement of two offices in Terrebonne Parish to aid those residents affected by the recent oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. BP Claims Office BP is scheduled to open a claims office on Tuesday, May 18 at the Plaza Caillou Shopping Center (814 Grand Caillou Rd. Suites 2 & 3). This claims office will process claims for those who have lost income due to the recent spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The claims office is scheduled to be open seven days a week between the hours of 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Those wishing to seek claims should bring photo identification as well as all necessary documentation to verify income from previous years. SBA The Small Business Administration (SBA) has also opened an office on the first floor of the Government Tower located at 8026 Main Street. Their operating hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. The SBA is making low-interest loans available to Louisiana Gulf Coast small businesses suffering financial losses following the April 20 Deepwater BP oil spill that affected commercial and recreational fishing along the state’s southeast coast. # # #
