HHS Community Development Division Accepting Applications for Bidder's List

The Terrebonne Parish Housing and Human Services Department's Community Development Division is updating its Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program's Bidders List and is currently soliciting contractors for the following trades to participate in the program:

  • Roofing
  • Electrical 
  • Plumbing
  • HVAC
  • General Carpentry

Contracting firms placed on the Bidders List will be afforded opportunities to bid on projects involving the rehabilitation of residential structures owned by residents of Terrebonne Parish.

Contractors must have the following: 

  • A valid Louisiana State Contractor License of the proper classification(s)
  • Commercial General Liability Insurance ($500,000 minimum)*
  • Automobile Liability ($250,000 minimum)*
  • Standard Louisiana Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability with a Waiver of Subrogation

* Insurance must list Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government as additional insured.

Contractors interested in participating in the Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program must complete a Vendor Application and a Contractor's Application, which can be downloaded from the Terrebonne Parish Community Development Division webpage or picked up at the following location:
