16th Annual Voice of the Wetlands Festival to be Held Oct. 11-13

The Voice of the Wetlands Organization announces its 2019 Voice of the Wetlands Festival to be held on October 11-13, 2019, at the Ponderosa, 5407 West Park Ave., Houma.

The dates and times are as follows:

  • Friday, October 11: 6 p.m. till
  • Saturday, October 12: 12 p.m. till
  • Sunday, October 13: 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The entrance is 20 yards north of the Patrick Bridge which connects West Main to West Park. People from around the U.S. come to celebrate and experience a taste of Louisiana culture in a small town setting. The festival has and still remains a free event.

This unique festival offers live music, food, craft vendors, a kids' zone, and camping. For a fee, limited space for RV and tent camping is available. Campers can now set themselves up to be in walking distance to the event, making it easier to catch those late night jam sessions.
