TS Barry - Garbage Collections Will Continue Until Unsafe on Friday; Suspended for Saturday

The Terrebonne Parish Solid Waste Department has announced that all garbage collections will be suspended on Saturday, July 13, 2019.  Collections today, Friday, July 12, will continue until unsafe to do to. Saturday collections will resume on the next regular schedule collection day.

Please secure bulky waste items not picked up. Solid Waste residential drop-off locations (Ashland, Crochetville and Schriever) will close at 5:00 PM today Friday, July 12, and remain closed until after the storm and determined they are safe to fully operate.

The Ashland Transfer Station will close at  noon today Friday, July 12 to all commercial and public use until after the storm and safe operation can resume.

You are asked to secure your garbage cart in advance of the storm’s winds.
