The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is filled with friendly, adoptable cats; therefore, the shelter is offering $15 adoptions for cats for this month's promotion: May Day!   

The promotion will run from Monday, May 13 to Saturday, May 25, 2019. Shelter hours for adoptions are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shelter will not be open for intake on Saturdays.

Dozens of animals are currently available for adoption at the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. Pictures of some of the adoptable animals can be found on the shelter’s facebook page and petfinder.com.

Adopted animals are provided with the following:

• health exam
• vaccinations
• dewormer
• appropriate testing
• microchip (including registration)
• spay/neuter
• 1 mo. supply of flea prevention
• 1 mo. supply of heartworm prevention (dogs)
• Starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet food
