Terrebonne Economic Development Authority (TEDA) announces the High School Job Fair at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the Houma Municipal Auditorium, 880 Verret St, Houma. 

More than 500 public high school students will be graduating in May with industry-based certifications.This event aims to pair pending graduates with industry-based certificates through the Jump Start program with local employers. Industry-based certificates include: business/computer applications, healthcare, welding, carpentry, hospitality, electrical skills, safety, customer safety, and other fields.

The students also have WorkKeys certificates in applied math, graphic literacy, and workplace documents. Potential employers will be able to get an idea of the students level of problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, as well as trainability.
