TPCG applying for FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grants

Request for Statements of Qualifications and Cost Proposals, Preparation and Submission of FEMA Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) Pilot Program Application, or Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for Ike and Gustav Recovery and Program Administrative/Management Services, If Funded The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government, Department of Planning and Zoning is applying for a grant under the FEMA Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) Pilot Program to provide the necessary funding to reduce or eliminate the long-term risk of flood damage to severe repetitive loss residential structures insured under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). We will also apply for FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Funding to assist the Hurricane Ike and Gustav recovery. The Parish is interested in procuring the services of an administrative consulting firm to prepare and submit the application package(s) and to implement and manage the program(s), if funded. The procedures for the selection of this firm will be in accordance with the procurement requirements of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government. All responses received will be evaluated in accordance with the selection criteria and corresponding point system, which is identified in the request for statements of qualifications and cost proposals package. That package also identifies the scope of services to be performed by the selected firm. The Parish will award the contracts to the firm(s) obtaining the highest score in the evaluation process. The response to this request must be hand-delivered or mailed to Mr. Patrick Gordon, Director of Planning and Zoning at Post Office Box 2768, 8026 Main Street, Suite 401, Houma, Louisiana 70361, in such a manner that it is received no later than 4:00 p.m., on Monday, June 22, 2008.
