The Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter is filled to capacity with over 80 friendly, adoptable cats and kittens; therefore, we are offering a special Cool Catz adoption fee on felines. The shelter will offer adoptions for $25.00 for all felines beginning Saturday, August 4, 2018 and ending Friday, August 11, 2018.

Adoption hours during the week are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Adoption hours on Saturdays are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The shelter will not be open for intake on Saturdays. It is with great anticipation that by offering a reduced price for adoptions, more cats can find homes.

Dozens of animals are currently available for adoption at the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. Pictures of some of the adoptable animals can be found on the shelter’s Facebook page and Petfinder.com.

Adopted animals are provided with the following:

• health exam
• vaccinations
• dewormer
• appropriate testing
• microchip (including registration)
• spay/neuter
• 1 mo. supply of flea prevention
• 1 mo. supply of heartworm prevention (dogs)
• starter bag of Hill’s Science Diet food
